With an entertainment career that spans more than 30 years, Ian Knowles is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and artistic director with outstanding career achievements to his name. His work has taken him from one corner of the world to another, working as a cast member, director or choreographer for high-profile productions. His theatre credits include ‘Cinderella’, ‘Anything Goes’, ‘West Side Story’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘My Fair Lady’ and ‘Hello Dolly’. His choreography credits include “Bali Agung – Legend Of A Goddess” which is still performing in Bali today, “Colours Of Malaysia” Opening Ceremony, “Sound Of Music”, Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games and many more. He was thrilled to become the Artistic Director of the Full-Time dance course at The Space Dance and Arts Centre Melbourne, giving him the skills to take the next step in his career.
Dance has always been Ian’s passion and he is proud to be the co-founder of Inspired Dance Film Fest Australia, to continue his vision of creating opportunities for the dance community as a whole.
Jason Winters, originally from the U.S. has had a long and lustrous career.
Not just as a world class dancer for The Walt Disney World Company, Tokyo Disney, Radio City Music Hall, and The Mia Michaels company RAW, but also as an associate choreographer for shows On and Off Broadway, Cirque de Soleil, and So You Think You Can Dance US & Canada to name just a few.
Currently as one of the most sought after teachers & adjudicators, Mr.
Winters faculty positions have included The Joffrey School, Broadway Dance Centre, STEPS on Broadway, Amsterdam Dance Centre, The American Dance Awards, Sydney Dance Company, The Australian Dance Festival, DanceLife Unite, Get the Beat Asia, The West Coast Dance Festival, & The Brisbane Eisteddfod.
