Dear Parents and competitors, we are aware there is a lot of concern in the wider community regarding the COVID 19 virus and the impact it is having upon dance schools . We receive regular updates from  the Health Department of WA and are following their guidelines. Please read our contingencies below.

ENTER THE STAGE TROUPES event is still proceeding on Sunday 15th March -Kennedy Baptist College.

Please note we are running our event with some changes. The health of our dance community is a priority for us all and we are proceeding with the event after consultation with the Eisteddfod Organisers Australia. We have also been in consultation with the Education Department and Health Department WA and we are within the parameters to proceed and sanctioned as a small scale event.

Our expected total event attendance we estimate to be under 400 persons at any one time (as in our previous troupe events). The venue for the event has a capacity of 1200 seats. Therefore, giving the audience and competitors ample room to spread out throughout the venue and not have to sit seat to seat.

Other proactive moves we have made for the event.

· Hand sanitation sprays on entry.

· Hand sprays available throughout the venue

· Signage throughout the venue to remind the audience

and competitors to wash hands regularly.

· Regular door, railing, surface area sanitation/cleaning

every hour by staff.

**STUDIO DIRECTORS please note:

· Teachers ONLY to come forward and collect the awards.

· All competitors to be in the auditorium for these awards.

· We are placing an ETS Policy that there should be no

hugs, kisses or high fives during the competition.

Please let us stop the panic and understand that this event is well organized and has strategies in place to reduce risk.

We are looking forward to seeing you all and celebrating performing arts in Western Australia!

Let’s do this............

ETS is held this year at the wonderful state of the art venue at Kennendy Baptist College.    Enter the stage is now in its 5th successful year and has become the "must do" Performing Arts and Dance competition in Western Australia. In 2019 we saw the addition of the Enter the Stage Troupe Championships which was offered to all ages, genres, and abilities of the Performing Arts. This brings schools groups, studios and crews together for one massive event. The competition prides itself with providing three industry specialist adjudicators for every session! The event is a professionally organised and inclusive event that achieves a positive outcome for all of those performing in it.

At the event, there are services such as food, coffee and beverages, and a fully serviced teachers chill room. Our awards, prizes and scholarships are some of the best in the country including generous cash prizes.

A chance for all performing arts schools to come together and showcase their concert and new years work. Both small and large troupes in a variety of categories including the loved production, 'kick up your heels' and the ability groups section.
